A festive workshop making comic-filled crackers, suitable 6-11yrs…

At this completely crackers workshop, children will learn how to turn a joke into a comic strip, craft a cracker (complete with snapper) and tuck their joke strip inside, ready to be cracked at Christmas!

Ho! Ho! Huh? This month at the Alligator’s Mouth Comics Club, we’ll create comic style Christmas cards that make inventive use of collaged vintage Christmas images. Children will be able to take home their creations and perhaps photocopy them for friends and family, sure to bring much festive joy. Booking via @alligatorsmouth #richmond #comicsclub #christmas

The bid is for a series of historically-themed comic workshops, free to schools, SEND groups and public, at Whitehall Historic House in Cheam. Each session will involve engaging and educational drawing, comics and crafts, drawing on eras of history and Whitehall’s collection.

Here’s how to vote:
1. Search Sutton Neighbourhood Fund. Start the consultation.

2. For areas you’d like to see improvement, select ‘Mental health and well being of children and young people’.

3. Select View on ‘Would you like to view projects in relation to culture, children and young people?’

4. Find Quickdraw History Comics. Select to ‘support’ or ‘strongly support’.

5. Continue to submit your response.

The bid consultation ends 16th November. Please support and share to make this project possible.
